{Tutorial} DIY Party Decor

Hi everybody! I have a tutorial for you today and I really hope you like it! It's my first tutorial so bear with me and forgive my pictures as my lighting was a little bad. I was inspired by some paper bag flowers that I saw by Martha Stewart many moons ago. You can find the tutorial here and I will show you where I made mine a little different. I think these would be beautiful at a party and are also pretty for spring if you just wanna hang them up at home! To start with, you probably have everything you need to make these at home already!

{Creationz} Jungle Baby Shower

This past weekend was soooooo busy with three parties in one weekend!! YIKES!!! But, I pulled it off and I am so proud of the way they all turned out. This party was a baby shower for my sister-in-law that was a jungle theme. We also focused on the "King of the Jungle" Lil' Lion for the invites, etc. If you missed the invite you can find it here.  The tables had burlap runners, grass patches with lil lions, and small green plants with their pots wrapped in coordinating fabric.

A few months back I had a giveaway on the blog and Bianca was the lucky winner. After meeting Bianca, she wanted me to help her with some other things for the party and I had so much fun doing it for her! For the tables I did ruffled crepe paper runners and small pots with wheat grass, gerber daisies, and a little ladybug of course! :o)

{Creationz} Lil' Monkey 1st Birthday Party

Hi everybody. The last two weeks have been extremely busy for me but tons of fun
and I have lots of party pics to share!!!
The first party was for my niece Tatiana. She turned one and my cousins went with the Lil' Monkey theme for her birthday. The gorgeous cake and cupcakes were made by Caroline of Caroline's Creations. She did a great job and the piping on Tatiana's name was perfect! The favor bags were pink and green and had scalloped circle favor bag clips to go with the theme.

{Sneak Peek} Lions and Tigers and Baby Showers...OH MY!!!

monkey baby shower invitation

Okay, so I just shared my little niece's monkey invite with you and now here's another! My Mother-in-Law is planning 2 baby showers for my Sister-in-Law Amy and Amy really loved the monkey invite I did for my cousin so I changed it up a little and here it is. I couldn't resist taking a picture of the monkeys all stacked up in a great big pile! lol. I tried one with a white scalloped background and I really love the way that looks!

{Sneak Peek} Lil' Monkey 1st Birthday

Okay, I know this isn't exactly "tomorrow" like I said but here is the sneak peek I promised you last week! Life has a funny way of throwing you a few curve balls when you have alot going on and that is exactly what happened to me after my last post. BUT! I dragged my self out of bed and onto the computer chair {too dramatic?? lol} to post this today. These adorable invites are something that I came up with for my cousins Karina & Ricky. Their adorable "lil' monkey" is turning one and her big party is this weekend! Karina showed me some invites that she saw online with pink and green and kind of a circle theme to it but she wanted something custom and this is what I made for her. I can't wait for this weekend and will have lots of pics for you next week!
I may have 2 more sneak peeks for you in a bit but no promises cause that just gets me in trouble! ;)
Thanks for stopping by!!!

{Creationz} Butterfly Baptism Invites

In January I was contacted by Janel who was looking for some baptism invites for her little ones and this is what I came up with. I think they are whimsical and elegant...just right for a baptism. Janel picked them up today and I'm so glad that she was happy with them. Thank you so much Janel for letting me do these for such a special occasion!

I have another invite that I am dying to share with you for a party I am working on for my cousin Karina. Karina is always soooo easy and fun to work with and I am really excited about my little niece's 1st Birthday! I will try to have that Sneak Peak for you guys tomorrow so make sure you come back and visit!!
Thanks for stopping by!
