{Creationz} Jungle Baby Shower

This past weekend was soooooo busy with three parties in one weekend!! YIKES!!! But, I pulled it off and I am so proud of the way they all turned out. This party was a baby shower for my sister-in-law that was a jungle theme. We also focused on the "King of the Jungle" Lil' Lion for the invites, etc. If you missed the invite you can find it here.  The tables had burlap runners, grass patches with lil lions, and small green plants with their pots wrapped in coordinating fabric.

Each place setting had one of these little packages above which was the favor for the party. It was an embellished votive candle with the poem below.

This was the banner I made for the dessert table that read  "Welcome Baby" and had another lion like I used on the invite. The table had red velvet and confetti cake pops, miniature popcorn boxes filled with caramel popcorn, pears, and some chocolate kisses packaged in small bags with custom tags.

For the monkey party she had the next day I used the same decorations but just added little monkeys hanging from the plants and large ones on the end of the banner. For dessert we did a banana split bar and had cake pops also.

I am really happy with the way these parties turned out. My daughter fell in love with this while I was working on it and thinks she may want a jungle theme for her birthday when it rolls around again! lol. My sister-in-law was sooo happy with everything and it was my pleasure to do it for her. And I can't wait to meet my little nephew!
I hope you all enjoyed the pics! Thanks for visiting!!

XOXO, Monica

How did you make the prayer tag for the votive candle gifts?
